HOW TO PLANT
For germination 60 – 85 degrees is ideal. It can take up to 3 weeks. Keep in mind, the cooler the soil, the longer it’ll take the seeds to germinate.
Carrot seeds are best planted directly into well-drained soil, full sun. I sprinkle the seeds lightly, less than ¼ inch deep and about three inches apart. Water immediately and keep the soil moist, but not wet. Letting the soil dry out could result in your seeds having a lower germination rate.
Good companion plants include onions, peppers and broccoli and brussel sprouts.
Tendersweet Carrots may take up to 70 days for harvest.
