Raising Chickens

You don’t need a whole farm to raise chickens.  You’d be surprised at how many people are reaping the benefits in their own backyards.

Why Raise Chickens?

  • You get fresh, great-tasting and nutritious eggs. Eggs bought at the grocery store can be days, even weeks old.  The longer they sit, the more nutrition they lose and that also affects the taste and consistency of the egg.

  • It’s a chemical-free way to control bugs and weeds.

  • Compared to most other pets, they are easy and inexpensive to maintain.

  • They provide fertilizer that will help anything grow.

  • They are great pets.
